[Fake Alert] – Oneplus 13 Renders Surface Online Just 2 Months After OnePlus 12 Launch, Definitely Not Real!

From the last couple of days, images of Oneplus 13 early renders have been surfacing across the digital media space. The renders show a white colored device from the rear with the branding of Oneplus and Hasselblad (manufacturer of digital medium format cameras and lenses). Speculators and leakers are confident that the device is none other than the “Oneplus 13”.

As can be seen from the images, the rumoured Oneplus 13 render shows an unusual vertically stacked triple camera setup. This is by far the single, most hyped physical characteristic of the device evident in the renders. While the device looks like a dream come true for many Oneplus fans, we don’t believe that this leak is legitimate.

Many media outlets and bloggers quickly jumped on the bandwagon of the leaks, creating further hype about the fake renders. There are some YouTube videos claiming the release of OnePlus 13 as well:

Furthermore, the leaks have gone beyond just the fake Oneplus 13’s render images. Some leaksters also suggest that the phone will run on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SOC. The phone is also rumored to retain a 2K screen and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

The leaks were first seen on the OnePlus club, from where the rumors took all over the internet. While the device may look like what a OnePlus user might expect, it’s definitely not legitimate. 

The device being claimed as OnePlus 13 is actually a fan made image of a possible OnePlus device. The image has been circulating over the internet for years now and is again picked up to spread rumors about the OnePlus 13. So far, there is not a single legitimate information about the OnePlus 13 mobile, its launch date, or its specifications.

Further, some users also suggest that the camera setup shown in the leaked renders of Oneplus 13 are actually taken from the flagship models of the Sony Xperia devices, the Sony Xperia Mark 6 specifically.

OnePlus 13 Expected Launch Date: While there is no official update on the release date of the OnePlus 13, you may expect it somewhere around January 2025 as Oneplus tends to release their devices around the same time.
